Pottermania is one of the four cons Sakurabana Belgrade organises on an annual basis. It's the shortest one, as it lasts for one day only - but on this day everything is related to Harry Potter and the wizardry world. This year we had panels on Alchemy, Alan Rickman, Calligraphy, Vertigo's "Books of Magic", and many more... As a part of the organisation, I acted as the Head of Gryffindor - visitors are classified into houses upon entrance, and have the opportunity to participate in various games to gain points for their respective houses.
People were buzzing around for the whole day, competing with each other and uncovering Hogwarts' secrets, and the scores were carefully kept the score students made. Gryffindor's poor ghost, Nearly Headless Nick was so busy writing!
Professor McGonnagall won the first place in cosplay competition, and is receiving her prize from our judge, Hagrid ~
At the end of the day, it was a close call between the number of Slytherin's and Gryffindor's points - but Gryffindor won by as much as a hundred points!! A true ending of the year in the manner of Potter books, I'd say
My wonderful makeup was done by Ferasha, as usual, people barely recognized me with such a feminine look! I looked pretty strange to myself as well xD
I myself used to be a big fan of Harry Potter back in primary school, so it's fun to evoke gathered knowledge and experience from time to time
